The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared at a press conference today, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of concealing his participation in the global summit in Spain. According to Berisha, the prime minister kept his participation in the global summit, which included a number of state presidents or prime ministers, a secret from the citizens of his country.

Furthermore, Berisha described this meeting as "anti-American," and also stated that it was not "pro-European" either.

"Dear journalists, dear citizens, I apologize for this conference before you, but I will begin by posing a question to all of you. What can you call, what name can you give to a prime minister who flies thousands of kilometers from his country to participate in an international summit titled the Global Summit for Democracy in Barcelona and deceives his own citizens, telling them that he was on a visit to Spain, to see Pedro Sanchez, and does not say a single word, keeps secret from the citizens of his country his participation in the global summit where there were a number of state presidents or prime ministers from a series of countries in Latin America, Africa, and other parts of the globe. So, once again, when a prime minister goes to a country, participates in a summit as if it were clandestine, at a time when it was an international public event, invited by the Spanish prime minister, with a considerable number of prime ministers and state presidents.

What name can you give to such a prime minister who hides his participation in an international summit and sells it as an official visit to Spain? Can you call him a man, a scoundrel, or perhaps an immoral political prostitute? Why is this? First, the summit in which he appeared, as declared by the leader of the extreme global left, was his organization. Read the posts he has made and the satisfaction he expresses. Second, this summit, in truth, was with an anti-American mantra, but it was not pro-European. No, it was not a pro-European summit. Finally, how can you hide participation in such a summit? What are the reasons for hiding it? Men, scoundrels are few, but also political prostitutes. But even so, you don't hide it, you went. You participated. You are on the panel. You are in the photo. Who are you hiding it from?" said Berisha.
