Starting from Wednesday, the bus fleet in the country will be reduced by 40 percent, announced the National Association of Urban Transport and the Association of Urban and Interurban Transport. The notice states that the lack of government response has significantly worsened the financial situation of operators. "This lack of response and concrete action has significantly worsened the financial situation of operators, who are already in very difficult conditions to sustain the continuation of activity. Consequently, we inform you that, starting from tomorrow, we will reduce the number of vehicles in circulation by lowering the fleet in public transport service by 40 percent, as a forced measure to cope with this emergency situation," the notice says.
