A 22-year-old man who had been wanted for three years was arrested today in Lezhë. Official sources reported that the detainee is Gabriel Marku, and his capture was carried out in Shëngjin.
It is reported that Marku is accused of aggravated intentional injury, an act committed in collaboration with his brother in Gjadër in 2023.
As a result of the swift processing of information obtained through operational channels regarding the location of a wanted citizen for a crime against a person, specialists from the Section for Investigation of Crimes against Persons, in collaboration with specialists from the Operational Support Section and the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja," captured the accused citizen, G. M., 22, a resident of Ishull Shëngjin village, in Shëngjin.
The 22-year-old had been wanted since the Lezhë Court, in 2023, imposed the security measure "arrest in prison" in absentia for the criminal offense of "aggravated intentional injury," committed in collaboration.
Investigative actions suspect that in August 2023, in Gjadër village, the detainee collaborated with his brother, citizen E. M. (arrested in November 2023), in the aggravated injury with a firearm of citizen D. Gj.
