A convict undergoing compulsory medical treatment passed away in the early morning hours at the hospital following a deterioration in his health condition. The police have announced that all legal procedures were followed and the relevant institutions as well as family members have been notified. According to the police notification, the convict Hajri Ramazan Robi died around 05:00 at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, in the Central Resuscitation Unit, due to cardio-respiratory arrest. The convict undergoing compulsory medical treatment, Hajri Ramazan Robi, born on 07.01.1958, a native and resident of Durrës, was arrested on 12.03.2026 for the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence." He entered the Lezhë Penitentiary Institution on 14.03.2026, in implementation of Decision No. 156, dated 13.03.2026, of the Durrës First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction. On 30.03.2026, the convict was transferred from the Lezhë Penitentiary Institution and admitted to the Prison Hospital Center. On 02.04.2026, he was urgently admitted to the Central Resuscitation Unit, diagnosed with arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and a left subtrochanteric fracture. All legally prescribed procedures for this case were carried out, with notifications made to the Internal Control Service of Prisons, the Prosecutor's Office, the Police Commissariat, as well as family members.
