Actress and model Brigitte Nielsen gave a shocking interview on the show "Belve" with Francesca Fagnani, where she spoke about her relationship with ex-husband Sylvester Stallone, periods of addiction, and difficult personal moments. Nielsen stated that her relationship with Stallone changed immediately after marriage. She claims to have experienced a difficult relationship, describing her ex-partner as "harsh both psychologically and physically" and saying she felt "in danger."
"Something changed on the wedding night. It was terrible, something I will never forget. He was very cruel, both psychologically and physically. He was obsessive. I felt in danger."
The actress also added that her separation from Stallone, in her view, had consequences for her Hollywood career, claiming she faced professional difficulties after the marriage ended. She also mentioned legal restrictions that, according to her, prevented her from speaking earlier about details of this relationship.
"He destroyed my career after I left him. He put me on Hollywood's 'blacklist.' He couldn't believe that someone would leave him. I'm like an atomic bomb because I know everything. But I signed a contract."
During the interview, Nielsen also spoke about dark periods in her life, including her battle with alcohol and difficult emotional moments. She recounted experiencing severe psychological states and mentioned a previous suicide attempt, describing that period as one of the most painful in her life.
"It was a terrible day. It broke half of my soul. I wanted peace. He brainwashed me. Like ISIS. I was no longer myself."
In another part of the interview, she also spoke about another problematic relationship, claiming she was strongly psychologically influenced during that period.
