Today, our country will continue to be affected by unstable atmospheric conditions. According to the Military Meteorological Service, the weather is forecast to be partly to mostly cloudy. Occasional light rain showers are expected to occur in the morning hours in the northern and central parts of the country. Gradually, the rain showers are anticipated to spread across the entire country with low intensity, while in the northwest and west during the midday and afternoon hours, the rain showers will gain moderate intensity, occasionally turning into thunderstorms accompanied by electrical discharges and localized hail. In the Alps and high mountainous areas, light snowfall is expected. The wind will blow from the southeast to southwest direction with an average speed of 6 m/s, which is occasionally expected to increase up to 14 m/s along the coastline and in the valley areas of the country. Wave activity in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas will be at force 2-3.
