Police in Durrës have uncovered an apartment suspected of being used for prostitution activities. During the operation, the alleged organizer was arrested along with two female Colombian nationals. Additionally, three other individuals have been processed in a free state for involvement in the same activity. Authorities are continuing investigations to fully uncover the network and the operational methods of the suspected activity. "Specialists from the Trafficking Investigation Section, together with the Special Operational Force, finalized the police operation codenamed 'Storm 18,' which was monitored using special investigation methods over a one-month period. As part of the operation, the 26-year-old Colombian national M. L. was arrested in flagrante delicto. Also arrested in flagrante delicto for prostitution were A. G., 33, and B. A., 26, both Colombian nationals. Furthermore, three individuals were processed in a free state for the criminal offense of 'Prostitution.' As material evidence, three passports of the arrested women, a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, one driver's license, and three mobile phones were seized. Investigative actions revealed that for one month, M. L. had rented an apartment in neighborhood no. 1, Durrës, which she had adapted for the purpose of prostitution by two other Colombian nationals. Additionally, this individual also engaged in prostitution activities herself in this location. The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës," the police statement said.
