The Ministry of Education has decided to increase the payment for teachers and collaborators engaged in after-school programs. According to the announcement made by Mirela Kumbaro, the compensation for this engagement will double, rising from 500 to 1000 lekรซ per working hour.

This initiative is linked to the "after school" program, which aims for students to remain in school premises even after the end of classes, to complete assignments or participate in various educational and creative activities. In addition to the current education staff, the call has been extended to retired teachers, as well as professionals from various fields such as art, music, or crafts.

The decision of the Council of Ministers aims to encourage community involvement in children's education and to guarantee a more dignified compensation for their contribution to these extracurricular activities, while also providing schools with the necessary funds for their implementation.
