New developments have emerged regarding the severe attack that occurred at a school in Kahramanmaraş, southern Turkey, where a 14-year-old killed eight students and one teacher, and injured 13 others.

According to recent reports, a video suspected to have been recorded just minutes before the tragic incident is circulating on social media. In the footage, the teenager is seen moving armed inside the classroom, further intensifying shock and reactions among the public.

Turkish authorities have revealed that the minor had planned the attack for several days. Investigators discovered a document on his computer suggesting deliberate preparations for the act, while all electronic devices seized from his residence are being analyzed to fully uncover the motives.

After carrying out the attack, the 14-year-old took his own life. Meanwhile, the investigation has extended to the perpetrator's family. His father, who served as a police inspector, has been placed in pre-trial detention, while the mother has been released.

According to authorities, the weapons used in the attack were found to be owned by the father, raising serious questions about firearm safety and storage within households.

The tragic event has sparked strong reactions in Turkey, reigniting debates on school safety and the control of minors' access to weapons.
