The Queen of Pop, Madonna, is gearing up for her highly anticipated musical comeback any day now. The 67-year-old wrote on Instagram on Monday evening to tease her first album in seven years, and according to sources, she will reveal a release date and a pre-order announcement on Friday (April 17).

The 15th studio album from "Madge" will be a continuation of her beloved 2005 album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," and she shared a brief instrumental snippet with her 20 million followers on Instagram, while the words 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' and 'Confessions II' and 'COADF2' appeared on screen.

Immediately after the words disappeared, a sleek image of a silver speaker positioned between her legs appears on screen and directs followers to her website.

Madonna has long teased the follow-up album. Last year, after it was revealed she had renewed her contract with Warner Records, she said she was "eagerly awaiting the future, making music," and teased "Confessions 2" adding: "Return to music, Return to the dance floor, Return to where it all began! COADF โ€“ P. 2 2026".

A source told The Sun that fans will know more by the end of the week: "Madonna is ready to enter her new era and, on Friday, fans will finally get to enjoy what she has been working on with Stuart Price. This album has been such a passion project for Madonna. It has taken her to another level in her artistry and she is excited for her fans to hear what she has been working on."
