The Court of Gjirokastra has ordered house arrest for Aldo Kalemi, Dali Nela, and Ermal Mataj, the three individuals arrested for the murder of Endri Goxhaj in Memaliaj, an incident that occurred on April 21. Aldo Kalemi appeared in court, while Dali Nela was represented by lawyer Bernard Aliko, as he remains under medical care at the "Omer Nishani" hospital in Gjirokastra. They have been detained for the criminal offenses of "murder committed in cooperation" and "unauthorized possession of weapons." Meanwhile, Ermal Mataj has been detained for the criminal offense of "actions that hinder the discovery of the truth," as he is suspected of having hidden the murder weapon, though this remains unproven. Investigations have revealed that the incident began with a sudden conflict between the victim and the injured party, where Endri Goxhaj fired a weapon at Nela, wounding him. Subsequently, the two brothers, Donaldo Nela and Marioldo Nela, who are wanted, are suspected of having fired firearms at the victim, who died while being transported to the hospital. The police have seized firearms, ammunition, vehicles, motorcycles, and mobile phones, which are expected to help fully clarify the incident.
