Former Foreign Minister Paskal Milo, a close friend of academician Rexhep Qosja, who passed away today at the age of 89, described him as a brilliant mind of the Albanian nation. Invited tonight on 'Top Story', the former minister recalled the old days when he visited Qosja at his home, which he described as both simple and magnificent due to his study. Paskal Milo shared the profound impressions the academician left on him, calling him one of the rarest individuals. "I have extraordinary impressions. Everything that has been said is worthy, but I cannot find words to characterize his personality and his productivity. He was not only a historian of literature but also a writer, literary critic, and a scientist of great magnitude. Above all, he was a brilliant mind of the Albanian nation, a philosopher of national thought. He is among the rarest. His pen was highly valuable, of great caliber, yet so simple, with a language accessible to all. Qosja was a very simple person in every aspect. From his home, which he built with family contributions. When you entered his house, it was very simple; what was magnificent was his study. It was fantastic, extraordinary. With a large desk surrounded by countless books, which he cherished like children, he lived with them. He was very sensitive. I have extraordinary impressions. Great impressions also of the cooperation in the final phase of resolving the Kosovo conflict," said former Minister Paskal Milo.
