A 19-year-old Albanian was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Torvaianica station in Italy, accused of cocaine trafficking, after a large quantity of drugs hidden inside his car was found in his possession. The stash was divided into 90 doses, ready for sale. The Carabinieri stated they are investigating to uncover a potential organized drug trafficking network. The young man was noticed by the Carabinieri while moving suspiciously in a vehicle during a territorial patrol. Suspicious of his movements, the officers decided to stop him for further investigation. During the search of his person and vehicle, the Carabinieri found approximately 90 doses of cocaine hidden in a compartment under the accelerator, as well as 130 euros in cash, believed to be potential proceeds from cocaine trafficking. The drug concealment system was designed to quickly evade any checks, confirming the possibility of a widespread cocaine trafficking operation that had long been active in the southern coastal area of Lazio. Following the security measure, the Albanian was placed under house arrest and subjected to an expedited process for a summary trial.
