Vlora Police have cracked a drug distribution case, arresting a 53-year-old man and placing two of his accomplices under investigation. The 53-year-old, a resident of North Macedonia, had rented an apartment in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, which he used to hide and divide drugs into doses for sale. During a search of the apartment, police found cocaine and cannabis, an electronic scale, and three mobile phones. Two young men, one from Vlora and one from Berat, are suspected of collaborating with him and are under investigation.
"The apartment rented by the 53-year-old in the '10 Korriku' neighborhood, used to hide the narcotic substance and prepare it for sale, has been uncovered. Seized from the apartment were quantities of Cocaine and Cannabis sativa, 1 electronic scale, and 3 mobile phones. Following intensive work to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, after obtaining information about a case of narcotics sales in the city of Vlora, organized efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. As a result of swift investigative and procedural actions, 3 individuals collaborating in this criminal activity were identified. - Citizen B. L., 53 years old, resident of North Macedonia, was arrested in flagrante delicto; - Materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens A. I., 31 years old, resident of Vlora, and K. A., 27 years old, resident of Berat. Macedonian citizen B. L. is suspected of having adapted his rented apartment in the '10 Korriku' neighborhood for hiding and preparing small quantities of the narcotic substances Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa for sale. During the search of this apartment, where the other 2 individuals were also apprehended, quantities of suspected narcotic substances Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, 1 electronic scale, and 3 mobile phones were found and seized as material evidence," the Police announced. The procedural materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for further action regarding the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics."
