Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Friday, April 24, that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. In a public statement, he revealed that he has undergone appropriate treatment, which has been successful and completely eliminated the issue without leaving any trace. "Today, my annual medical report was published. I requested that its release be delayed by two months to avoid coinciding with the peak of the war and to prevent the Iranian terrorist regime from spreading false propaganda against Israel," he stated. BBC reports that Netanyahu emphasized it was a minor health issue in the prostate, which has been fully treated. "Thank God, I have overcome this situation," he said, adding that he is in good health and "excellent physical condition." He also recalled that about a year and a half ago, he successfully underwent surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia. During recent medical check-ups, according to him, a small spot, less than one centimeter, was detected in this organ. "After further examinations, it was confirmed to be a very early stage of a malignant tumor, with no signs of spread or metastasis," Netanyahu concluded.
