New details emerge about Thursday's incident, where a 78-year-old man was found lifeless inside his home in the village of Bulgarec, Korçë. The lifeless body of Gëzim Vijes was discovered on Thursday morning by the postal worker who delivers pensions. He had called out to the 78-year-old to come out, and when there was no response, he alerted the neighbors, after which they opened the house door, finding the elderly man's lifeless body in one of the rooms. The forensic examination determined that the 78-year-old had a deep head wound, caused by a blunt object, which led to his death. It is suspected that the perpetrator and the victim had a confrontation before the 78-year-old was fatally struck with the blunt object. Police and experts returned to the scene today, while the weapon used to commit the murder has still not been found. Questioning of the victim's family and relatives continues, but so far their statements have not provided any useful information that would guide the police toward identifying the perpetrator.
