The Kremlin has declared that Iran has an unconditional right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. The statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with India Today. "Iran, like any other country in the world, should have the right, and this is an unconditional right, to peaceful nuclear energy," he stated. Peskov also emphasized that relations between Russia and Iran remain strong, describing Tehran as a strategic partner. According to him, cooperation between the two countries spans several fields, from economy and investments to technology and sensitive sectors, while Moscow aims to further deepen these ties.
