The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, made an emotional post ahead of Kosovo's major match against Turkey. In her post, the head of state shared a video previously published by the Football Federation of Kosovo, which showcases the history of Kosovo's football.
"Kosova was born amidst difficulties and sacrifices, grew with pride, and today stands on the field with dignity, representing the dreams of an entire people. You are a symbol of resilience, courage, and hope. We are with you, boys. With Kosovo forever. With the Dardanians," she wrote on Facebook.
The Kosovo-Turkey match will be played at 20:45, and the winner will advance to the final tournament of the 2026 World Cup, held this summer in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
