The lack of a customs warehouse has caused problems in storing goods blocked at the port of Durrës. Approximately 100 kg of goods, specifically sneakers, pants, and headphones, blocked by the Durrës Customs for verification in the container yard, were placed in an empty container at the beginning of the month. The blockade was imposed by customs pending a response from the General Directorate to assess whether the goods are original or counterfeit. Sources from the Durrës Customs informed Top Channel journalist Vali Qyrfyçi that on April 9, the container was found missing by customs, and work immediately began to determine where it had ended up. Verifications revealed that the maritime transport agency had mistakenly sent it to Piraeus, considering it empty. Upon being notified, the container was returned by ship and is expected to be opened tomorrow in the presence of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office and the Customs Investigation. According to sources, the goods have been inventoried, and upon opening the container, the relevant verification will be carried out.
