A terrifying story has emerged from the United States, where a woman has recounted how she narrowly escaped a tragic fate after a meeting with a man later identified as a serial killer.

The incident involves Rex Heuermann, accused of a series of brutal murders in the Long Island area. The woman, Nikkie Brass, said she met him at a restaurant, unaware of his true identity.

During the encounter, she noticed unusual behavior. According to her account, the man began speaking strangely about the murders in the Gilgo Beach area, displaying an abnormal interest and a frightening sense of excitement. Her instincts warned her that something was wrong.

The situation escalated when he insisted she accompany him to his home, becoming aggressive and persistent. The woman refused and left—a decision she believes may have saved her life.

Investigations later revealed that the man had confessed to the murders of several women, mostly sex workers, whose bodies were found dumped in remote areas. Authorities have stated that he also kept detailed notes on how he committed and concealed the crimes.
