Arbër Hajdari was a guest on the show "Ndryshe" on Top Albania Radio with Elona Duro and Salsano Rrapi. In an interview full of revelations, Arbër Hajdari shared how he began his journey of leading a foundation, while also not forgetting to mention his role as a commentator on "Big Brother Vip."

Elona: Arbër, how did the desire to help others come about?

Arbër: I have the impression that all of us, deep down, regardless of whether people are involved in organizations, have that feeling to help, be it a neighbor or a close person, as much as they can.

Arbër: Most of it, yes... Then the idea came to me one Eid day, when people usually celebrate the holiday with their families. That day, I thought and said, 'This has another meaning; you should share with people,' and then I decided to take some food and go to a very poor neighborhood in Tirana. That day, we had fun. We were with about 20 orphaned children, we enjoyed ourselves, we danced with an old boombox. And I had a Facebook profile with 100 people, I made a post and addressed my friends, saying that I had a very nice day, I did this, and I wish you would do the same, because there are many people living in difficult conditions. A week later, I felt good after seeing the wounds of poverty where I was, and I said I would take some clothes because that day we were only there for lunch.

Salsano: So they gathered from Facebook?

Arbër: Yes, from Facebook with close people. Then I started another weekend, and another one after that, since I had more time on weekends. Then I started inviting them to school.

Arbër: I was 21 years old... I started inviting them, then the mothers of friends and acquaintances began to join. We gathered more help than families, then we started looking for families, the number of families grew, help was lacking, and so after three months, I said, 'Wait a second, we need to structure this because we didn't even have a place to store things; we needed a warehouse.' We started and bought a Smart car with the budget we had, we began collecting aid to deliver to families in need, then day by day, structuring it until we came to "Fundjavë Ndryshe."
