Behind one of the most iconic families in Formula 1 lies a story of endurance far from the racetrack. In the documentary Horsepower: The World of Gina Schumacher, the daughter of legend Michael Schumacher shares her personal journey, marked by her father's accident and the need to find a new balance. "I needed to do something," says Gina. "After my father's accident, I fully dedicated myself to this because I couldn't live without horses. They helped me overcome everything." Her connection with horses began years ago during a trip to Dubai, where the family discovered Quarter Horses, prized for their obedient nature. The documentary also features Corinna Schumacher, who recalls her husband's words: "Michael told me: 'Gina will be much better than you. Because she is more selfish. As an athlete, you have to be that way to some extent. And that's a positive thing.'" Since Michael Schumacher's skiing accident in 2013 in Mรฉribel, the German champion's condition remains a carefully guarded secret kept by the family.
