A 42-year-old Albanian man has been arrested by Italian police after repeatedly threatening the owners of a bar near the train station in the Piazza Roma area. The Albanian had previously been subject to checks by the Carabinieri, while recently the owners of a local establishment had complained about his behavior, as he had threatened them even with death. The threats had been continuous, for reasons still unclear, while the Court had prohibited the 42-year-old Albanian from approaching the bar owners within a distance of more than 1,000 meters. However, the Albanian had violated this order and continued to visit their business. Italian media report that he was arrested after violating the restraining order imposed by the court for the umpteenth time. The Court of Asti, after confirming the arrest, ordered a precautionary measure against him. His current position is being reviewed by the Judicial Authority, which will evaluate any of his actions during the subsequent trial.
