Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that support for the development of farmers' enterprises has increased, and this will be further bolstered by an agreement to be signed soon with banks and the Bank of Albania for low-interest loans. Among other things, Rama also addressed the mayors, saying that through the Mountain Package, they must establish 10 agritourism ventures and 3 cooperative societies; otherwise, they should not seek re-election. "The issue is no longer about money, but about projects and applications. We have increased support, and in a few days, we will sign the agreement with the banks and the Bank of Albania, making available to all those who want to double their enterprise a credit line with low interest and state-backed guarantees. No one has an excuse, not even the mayors. I have told the mayors, but if you haven't created 10 agritourism ventures with the Mountain Package and 3 cooperative societies, don't even pretend to run again. Municipalities are not just about laying roads, installing lights, and collecting trash. Municipalities must be allies of the farmers," Rama said.
