Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed the achievement of a 10-day ceasefire with Lebanon, as part of efforts to advance towards a broader peace agreement between the two countries.

In his statement, Netanyahu expressed that there is a real possibility of reaching a historic agreement with Lebanon, describing this moment as an important step towards regional stability.

He also emphasized that one of Israel's key conditions remains the dismantling of Hezbollah, which he considers a crucial element for ensuring security and achieving lasting peace.

The ceasefire is expected to serve as a testing period to continue negotiations between the parties and to lay the groundwork for a long-term resolution to the conflict.
