Lezhë police are continuing their investigation into the assassination that claimed two victims, Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci, focusing on at least two vehicles used by the perpetrators. According to sources, one of the cars is black and the other gray, while their models are not being disclosed due to the ongoing investigation. It is suspected that four individuals were in these vehicles, having followed the target for several kilometers. The perpetrators chose a narrow area with no security cameras, where one of the cars cut off the path of the "Audi Q7" driven by the 39-year-old. Gunfire then erupted, with at least 40 shell casings found at the scene. After the crime, the perpetrators did not change their direction of travel but fled toward Torovica, an area offering several strategic exits to Velipojë, Shkodër, and Shëngjin. Preliminary investigations consider revenge as the primary motive, linked to an incident that occurred about 10 years ago, in which Kreshnik Mujeci was mentioned as one of the suspects involved in the murder of Genc Mhillaj in the Mali i Jushit area of Shkodër.
