"There is a band of murderers who have ordered, and governors who have ordered murders based on evidence in courtrooms not only in Albania but also in the world. Today in Albania, 'Rilindas' means criminal and only criminal. Those you see lining up in the most shameful way behind Edi Rama's decisions are incriminated people, connected to crime," stated DP leader Sali Berisha during a statement to journalists.
Berisha also accused Prime Minister Rama of blocking justice with an unconstitutional act to save his own skin.
Edi Rama blocked justice with an unconstitutional act to save his own skin. Albania is in the hands of a criminal gang.
Good evening and greetings to you and all the members of the Democratic Party for Tirana, our supporters, members of the Youth Forum, and members of LDGSH. We called this meeting because in an extraordinary situation, we must respond with extraordinary readiness and measures. The country is in an unprecedented situation. Edi Rama has removed every mask to protect his skin before Albanians and the entire world. In an unconstitutional act, he brutally blocked the operation of the justice system. Edi Rama used his 83 criminal mandates to hand over the keys to that branch of power without which there is no separation of powers. Without which, power is entirely in the hands of one man. Edi Rama took this act after strong opposition protests. Edi Rama took this act even after repeated warnings from key international partners in the European integration process, as well as other partners. He took an extreme act because he understood, he realized that the Balluku file was the Rama file. And people connected to crime, dictators of all kinds and colors, are always capable of making any decision to save their own skin. So, this is a decision made to save his skin. Albanians rightly ask, how is it possible that such an act is taken by parliament? I tell Albanian citizens, regardless of political beliefs, that Albania today is led by a criminal gang, the most dangerous it has ever had. There is a band of murderers who have ordered, and governors who have ordered murders based on evidence in courtrooms not only in Albania but also in the world. Today in Albania, 'Rilindas' means criminal and only criminal. Those you see lining up in the most shameful way behind Edi Rama's decisions are incriminated people, connected to crime.
