A large quantity of drugs was discovered by Italian police in Patrica, in the province of Frosinone, where a family had hidden 637 kilograms of hashish in a refrigerator in the premises of a ground-floor business in the building where they lived. The operation was carried out by the Anti-Drug Unit of the Rome Police, in collaboration with the investigative structures of Frosinone. During the intervention, three people were arrested: a 63-year-old woman and her two children, a 32-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, all Italian citizens with no prior criminal records. According to authorities, the drugs were divided into 100-gram and 50-gram packages and ready for distribution on the retail market. In addition to the main quantity, during a personal search of the 32-year-old woman, an additional 660 grams of hashish were found. Investigators estimate that the potential profits from the sale of this quantity of drugs would exceed 3.5 million euros. After the arrest, all three individuals were sent to the Rebibbia and Regina Coeli prisons, while investigations into the possible distribution network continue.
