The "Artemis II" mission, which sent four astronauts to lunar orbit, has captured everyone's attention, even after NASA released photos of our planet. But along with the attention come conspiracy theories.
Alfred Cako, known for various conspiracies and outspoken stances, on "Shqipรซria Live" described it all as a major hoax, saying that the astronauts did not go to space. According to him, the rocket was launched empty, while the four crew members are on Earth. He also alluded to the flat Earth theory, stating that people are being deceived.
"If you watch the video carefully, you understand that it's just a show. The astronauts were dropped by parachute and were not inside the rocket when it was launched into space. So the rocket is in space, the astronauts are on Earth. This is another conspiracy theory that says they didn't go to the Moon and it was just a show. The purpose was to show the shape of the Earth. The theory that the Earth is flat has gained a lot of momentum; about 60-70% of the population believes this theory. According to the flat Earth theory, all planets are placed on a platform, and beings from one planet are not allowed to go to another. We are on the eighth level because oxygen is the eighth element in Mendeleev's table. In Antarctica, every state has taken on the responsibility to protect its own territory. There is no South Pole there. There is only a compass that points to the center of the Earth. With this display, they want to show and convince people that depopulation is necessary. Global warming does not exist. If glaciers melt, the water level will drop. Glaciers have 5-7% of their surface underwater. Therefore, if they melt, the water level decreases, it does not rise. These are lies. I think this deceptive NASA adventure will come to an end very soon. This adventure cost 10 billion dollars because the U.S. government needed money for the war with Iran without asking the Senate, and that's why this was done. As for the shape of the Earth, it is not round; it is flat," said Cako.
