The renowned singer, Afërdita Zonja, in a special interview for "Galeri," part of "E Diell" on Top Channel, spoke about her life between America and Albania, as well as about Parashqevi Simaku. "I felt very sorry," expressed Zonja regarding Parashqevi (after the publication of the video in an American subway, where she was naked), while adding that she knew her personally and would not have wanted to see her in that position. She revealed that she has not met her in America. "I have not met Parashqevi, her story is painful, I did not feel well. I knew Parashqevi, she was a very good, fragile singer. If she had been in Albania, she would have had a very successful career. I truly felt sorry, I did not want to see that artist in that position," she expressed. Among other things, the singer spoke about her move towards the United States of America, where she stated: "After the '90s, I have been to America several times for concerts. I saw that country as the land of great opportunities. One day, we were joking about the lottery, as all Korça residents did. We won, and we couldn't let this opportunity go. We took advantage of it. But, we were working, we would go for 6 months, come and go. The day we retired, we decided to go. We Korça residents like America."
