This exhibition offers the public a documentary insight and understanding of the significance, role, and immeasurable contribution of the women of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the most difficult period of aggression from 1992 to 1995. Along that path, many of them wove their young lives into the foundations of the state. Many were wounded and suffered impaired health, yet very little is known or said about them. They have been unjustly neglected in relation to the contribution they made for the freedom we live in today. The Museum of Sarajevo and the Association of Members of the Army of BiH stated that through this exhibition, they aim to restore their dignity and pay tribute on the occasion of the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which they were proud and brave members.
