A 51-year-old Albanian man was arrested by police in Italy on charges of violating a re-entry ban issued after a previous deportation order. According to investigations, the 51-year-old, who has a lengthy criminal record for property and drug-related crimes, was arrested last February and subsequently repatriated to his country of origin. Despite the ban, he is suspected of illegally re-entering Italy and returning to Manduria. After several days of investigation, detectives managed to locate him inside a farmhouse situated in a remote and hard-to-reach rural area. During a search of the property, officers also found a pistol, a factor that further aggravated the suspect's situation. By order of the judicial authorities, the Albanian was arrested and transferred to Taranto prison.
