Arbër Çepani was a guest on the podcast "Flet" with Ilinisa Agolli, where he gave an interview very different from his previous ones. At one point, the well-known moderator touched on a sad event in Çepani's life—the passing of his former brother-in-law, Gert Bogdani. The former MP passed away on September 18, 2024, and Arbri gave an interview on "Top Story" with Grida Duma. Ilnisa asked him precisely about this—how he found the strength to appear publicly and speak about Bogdani. "I will mention just one not-so-pleasant moment, which affected not only your family but all Albanians everywhere—the passing of your former brother-in-law, Gert Bogdani. But what impressed me is that during the ceremony, you found the strength to appear publicly, and I don't know how you managed to show all that pain as it was, in front of all Albanians?" "It was, now that I look back, one of—no, not one, but I believe the most difficult moment of my life. That whole situation, that whole moment, everything was inaccessible, everything felt like a kind of bad dream that would at some point say, 'Wake up now, because none of this is really happening.' And I remember as if it were now those moments when the request came to do that interview. I was with Edlira, in bed. Actually, Edlira was outside, and I said, 'This is the situation, what do you think, how do you see it?' She said, 'Please, do it for Gerti.' That is, it was a word that even now when I think about it, it touches me incredibly deeply. I was in a situation where I had neither the desire to speak nor the desire to share anything with anyone... And she says, 'Please, do it for Gerti, because Gerti did a lot for people!'"
