A former beauty queen has been found dead in an apartment in Mexico City, in an incident that has shocked public opinion and raised strong suspicions of a family crime. Carolina Flores Gómez, 27, winner of the Miss Teen Universe Baja California contest in 2017, was found murdered on April 15 in an apartment in the upscale Polanco neighborhood.
