Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that Lebanon should be included in the biweekly ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States, emphasizing that Washington must respect its "commitments." According to a notice published on the official Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Araghchi made these remarks during a phone call with the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Reza Rauf Sheibani. The statements come at a time of high regional tension, as an Iranian delegation is expected to hold talks with American officials in Islamabad this Saturday. However, Tehran has not yet confirmed its participation, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire plan through attacks on Lebanon.
