Prime Minister Edi Rama began his meeting today in Athens with his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with a lighthearted tone. Rama apologized for not wearing attire as formal as Mitsotakis, to which Mitsotakis responded that they appreciate the creativity he shows in his choice of clothing.
"It is an honor for me to be here, and I apologize for not dressing as formally as you, because I did not expect such a reception. So I hope the Greek media does not perceive it differently, except as a lack of good information about the protocol," said Rama.
"We acknowledge that you are always very creative in the way you dress, and we like that," replied his counterpart.
