One day after the tragic incident in which the married couple, Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci, lost their lives, no individuals have yet been detained as suspects in connection with the event.
According to our correspondent in Lezhë, Brixhilda Deda, the investigative team has determined that two cars—one black and one gray—were involved in the execution. From what is evident, one of the vehicles, a black one, appears to be without license plates.
It is suspected that this vehicle was the one that cut off the Mujecis' car. Subsequently, a person inside is believed to have fired more than 30 shots.
Some of the bullets also struck the surroundings of the vehicle and the roadside. Sources indicate that Mujeci was pursued over a considerable distance by the perpetrators until they found the right moment and location to carry out the massacre.
Sources reveal that Mujeci had several safe places and was always accompanied by his wife, Gentjana. Family members have opened the doors of mourning near their residence in Koljakaj. The couple had four children.
