The Supreme Court has not accepted the appeal of Jorgo Goro and other defendants regarding the guilty verdict. Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha reports that the Court has decided to overturn the ruling on the asset confiscation case. The case for which Goro was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison is related to the alienation of a property in the Livadha area. Earlier, Goro had served 17 months in prison from another sentence of 2 years and 20 days, which was linked to the alienation of a 10,000-square-meter plot of land in the Gjileka area of Himara.
