The Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) is moving towards closing the investigations into the IPARD case. SPAK has begun summoning the persons under investigation for the communication of charges. One of the accused, Reni Ashiku, appeared with his lawyer at SPAK, where he is expected to be charged with the unlawful exercise of influence regarding the IPARD case.
