Couples in China are choosing an unconventional way to spend time together, turning romantic dates into profitable activities. According to reports, more and more young people are engaging in what is called "city work," where during their dates they deliver food, combining quality time with earning some extra income.
Typically, one partner drives the scooter while the other handles the app and communicates with customers, dividing the work in a coordinated manner.
For some, this method has even turned into a kind of "test" for the relationship, as situations during work reveal how well the partners collaborate. Many couples report working only a few hours a day, adding about 1,000 yuan per month to their income while simultaneously strengthening their bond.
