The Special Court sets the date, here is when the first trial session for Meta and Kryemadhi will be held.

The date has been set for the start of the trial against former President Ilir Meta, former MP Monika Kryemadhi, and three other defendants.

Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha reports that the Special Court will hold its first session on April 27 at 11:00 AM.

According to SPAK, the defendants are accused of corruption, money laundering, and failure to declare assets.

During the preliminary hearing, they denied the charges and claimed that the investigation against them is political.

The judicial panel composed of Etleva Deda, Atalanta Zeqiraj, and Besmir Stroka has set April 27 at 11:00 AM as the date for the first foundational session against the former president.
