Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets has died at the age of 67 on Wednesday. The TV personality had been part of the A&E series since 2010, appearing in 163 episodes. According to a press release from the Lake Havasu City Police Department in Arizona, Sheets is suspected to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Police were called to the scene following reports of a deceased person at his residence. "The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, 67, a resident of Lake Havasu City, and his family has been notified," the statement said.
Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been transported to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office. Authorities have stated that the investigation into the case remains active and that further information will be released when available, according to the Lake Havasu City Police. After retiring, Sheets lived in Arizona and also owned an antique shop called "Havasu Show Me Your Junk."
