Prime Minister Edi Rama dismissed the opposition's claims about the blocking of negotiations, stating that "there is talk everywhere" that our country's negotiations with the EU have been halted, emphasizing that this is completely untrue.
"There is talk everywhere that negotiations have been halted; this is entirely false. Negotiations are not strolls in the meadow but a process of continuous testing. This test currently underway between us and the member states is key, but there is no reason to speak of a blockade. We are following the set agenda; April is the month of intensive discussions after the member states' questions were gathered at the end of March. Following the discussions, decision-making will come," Rama stated.
Rama made this declaration while attending the event for presenting job vacancies in the public sector.
Regarding the latter, he said it is a new window for all those seeking a new opportunity, creating the possibility for them to now be informed and apply to be employed in any public institution.
"Today we open a new window for all those who have ambitions to work in the public sector. On the other hand, it creates the opportunity for anyone who wishes to contribute to the public sector to follow dynamically how a process they are interested in unfolds. This step creates more transparency, interacts between the individual seeking an opportunity and the state that needs and offers this opportunity to recruit the best, and involves the entire public system in a mirror where all opportunities are exposed.
The public administration has produced the opposite of many prejudices that have weighed on it over the years. While the perception has been quite heavy, prejudices that certainly have been triggered by behaviors and actions sometimes publicly exposed in all their ugliness, nevertheless, the overwhelming majority of people who do not make news, who go to work every day to serve the state, have faced an extraordinary test by representing Albania with dignity throughout the entire negotiation process," said Rama.
