Today, police arrested a 38-year-old man in the city of Fier, who had been declared wanted for drug trafficking. The arrested individual is Andi Bakiasi, 38, a resident of Lushnjë. Bakiasi had been declared wanted after the Tirana Court of Appeals sentenced him to 4 years and 8 months in prison for the criminal activity of selling narcotics. Specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Sector, in collaboration with the services of the Special Operational Force of the Fier Police Directorate, as part of their work to apprehend and bring to justice citizens declared wanted, finalized the coded operation "Arratia." As a result of this operation, the citizen Andi Bakiasi, 38, a resident of Lushnjë, was captured in the village of Pluk, Lushnjë, and handcuffed. This citizen had been declared wanted after the Tirana Court of Appeals sentenced him to 4 years and 8 months in prison for the criminal activity of selling narcotics, which was targeted during the coded operation "Tempulli" in 2024. The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
