Two individuals ended up in the handcuffs of the Tirana police after stealing a safe from an apartment on "Zihni Sako" street. The arrested are citizens Andi Hasani, 45 years old, and Agron Goxhaj, 48 years old, both residents of Tirana. The police reported that they were caught in the act immediately after stealing the safe belonging to the owner R. O., inside which there were valuable items and a firearm with ammunition, which was kept with a license by the owner. Also, during checks, the police discovered a premises disguised as a business, used by Agron Goxhaj, where various keys modified for opening apartment locks were found. According to the police announcement, the arrested are suspected of having committed other thefts in Durrës and Tirana, taking valuable items and sums of money. During the operation, the safe, valuable items, two vehicles, and one motorcycle were seized, as well as a total value of about 30 thousand euros. O., organized and finalized the police operation coded "Access" to clarify and document the case. As a result of the operation, citizens A. H., 45 years old, and A. G., 48 years old, both residents of Tirana, were identified, caught in the act immediately after committing the theft, and handcuffed. These citizens, on 03.04.2026, were caught in the act immediately after stealing a safe, inside which there were valuable items and 1 firearm with ammunition, which was owned with a license by the apartment owner, on "Zihni Sako" street. During the inspection of the premises adapted as a business by citizen A. G., it was found that this citizen modified various keys to enable the opening of apartment locks. Also, these citizens are suspected of having committed thefts of sums of money and valuable items in an apartment in Durrës and in the territory of Police Station No. 2. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
