Two foreign nationals were found lifeless in a mountainous area in the Korçë district, raising concerns about the circumstances of their deaths.
According to an official police statement, the incident was confirmed on the afternoon of April 4, 2026, around 5:00 PM, on Mount Kamenica, at a location known as "Qyngji." The victims are suspected to be migrants from Africa, aged approximately 20–22 years old.
Preliminary examination of the bodies revealed no signs of violence, while authorities await the results of the forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, the investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances of this incident.
