Serjan Mazrreku has been appointed as the new director of Durrës Prison. He takes over this position after Edmond Llabani, who was appointed to the post following the escape of Altin Ndoçi, passed away at the beginning of the month after a serious illness. Mazrreku has experience in administration and the legal field, and is currently also a member of the board of directors of the Port of Durrës and practices as a lawyer. Previously, he led Administrative Unit No. 6 for about 8 years. His introduction was made by Adriatik Kupi, as part of changes in the leadership of penal institutions. Mazrreku replaces Edmond Llabani in this role, who had been assigned as director of Durrës Prison since January 15 and passed away at the beginning of this month after a serious illness.
