Italian authorities have today arrested a 36-year-old Albanian man suspected of arson in his ex-partner's apartment. Following a recent argument, the man is alleged to have used flammable material to set the apartment on fire. Italian media report that the incident occurred several days ago on "Corso Ho Chi Minh," after a dispute between the 36-year-old and his ex-partner. Subsequently, he used flammable material to ignite the fire in her apartment. This situation caused significant material damage, as it destroyed her entire apartment. The ex-couple was also injured, sustaining wounds from the incident. They were taken to the Guzzardi hospital facilities, where they received specialized medical care. It is reported that they are out of life-threatening danger. The suspected perpetrator, after being discharged from the hospital, was sent to Ragusa prison and is being held by judicial authorities. It is suspected that the reasons leading to this action were ongoing conflicts between them and the separation, which the Albanian man did not accept.
