A serious traffic accident has been recorded on the Elbasan-Cërrik road, in the area of the village of Mjekës. According to preliminary data, two vehicles were involved in the accident: a "Benz" type vehicle and a "Volkswagen Caddy" type vehicle. As a result of the violent collision, the driver of the "Benz" vehicle lost his life at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle was urgently transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment. His health condition is not yet known, reports Top Channel correspondent Bruna Kërçyku. Police forces and the investigative team have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of this tragic accident.
