In the ensuing panic, some of those present immediately fled, while others alerted emergency services. The 16-year-old was urgently transported to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed severe hydrocarbon poisoning, as he had consumed motor oil mixed into the drink. Italian police have identified the suspected perpetrator, a 17-year-old, who has been reported for poisoning and personal injury. The investigation is being led by the juvenile prosecutor's office in Turin.
